Donating Goods to the Caribbean? Anytime Moving & Delivery Will Pick Them Up

Brooklyn, New York – October 26, 2004 - Anytime Moving & Delivery Van Service staff, members of the Caribbean American Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Inc. (CACCI) have joined forces with CACCI in their efforts to provide aid to the Caribbean islands during the recovery process after the recent hurricanes. For those who would like to contribute goods to the Caribbean Disaster Relief Fund, Anytime Moving & Delivery Van Service will pick up of the goods or related items and transport them to the designated drop off locations throughout the tri-state area. This service will be offered at more than half off the regular price.

 

“Anytime Moving & Delivery Van Service’s mission is to make it easy for people who might not have transportation or are too busy to get to designated drop off points,” says owner/operator Wayne Gomillion, whose parents are from Barbados and the Grenadines.

 

This is a limited time service, ending on November 13, 2004. These services will be offered to residential homes, apartment buildings and businesses. In order to ensure efficient service we ask that these guidelines be followed:

 

Limited to (2) boxes/bins/heavy-duty plastic bags per household or business.

Residential

• Residential houses: Items will be left on the porch or ground floor of the house for prompt pickup.
• Residential apartment buildings: Items will be sent to the street level for prompt loading. (Note) In case of an elderly or disabled donor, we will pickup items from the apartment at no additional cost.

Commercial

• Storefront Businesses: Items should be placed at the entrance of the establishment for prompt pick up.
• Corporate Buildings: Items should be sent to the lobby for prompt pick up.
• (Note: Reduced waiting time charges in excess of 10 minutes will be added to the cost for all commercial locations.)

 

*Our drastically reduced prices will cover our gas/vehicle maintenance cost.*

 

Acceptable payments should be in the form of cash or money orders due upon arrival.

 

Anytime Moving & Delivery Van Service has been servicing the New York, New Jersey, Connecticut area since 2001,  providing delivery and moving services for residences and small commercial units. Located in Brooklyn, Anytime Moving & Van Service has successfully completed over 250 assignments for a long list of satisfied customers, including recent moves and referrals. In 2004, Anytime Moving & Van Service expanded its personnel through a college intern program. The company hired 5 summer interns. The interns attend Brooklyn College, BMCC, Rutgers, and Baruch. One of the interns said, “We enjoy working for a professional delivery and moving service, and the money will help pay my tuition in the fall”.
